The Rare Disease Network of Alberta (rDNA) is a non-profit group that aims to spread awareness and offer support to Albertans with rare diseases. It’s been an honour to work with the group on various projects, including redesigning their website, as well as creating posters, graphics and social media posts. For this project, the folks at rDNA wanted to promote 2026’s Rare Disease Day event on social media a month in advance with the theme of ‘telling stories’. I was given their event logo and a handful of quotes, and tasked with creating a banner for Eventbrite, a few social media posts and a handful of bookmark designs to promote the event.
The focus of the project was to incorporate the theme of telling stories with clear yet simplistic designs. The rDNA volunteers were very happy with the graphic design work that was developed in a short timeframe.
