Helping Hands Website

The Helping Hands Society of Cochrane and Area is made up of dedicated volunteers who are adept at helping others and strengthening their community. With that as a focus it’s no wonder that their previous website was put on the back burner. With a site that was outdated and in urgent need of PHP and WordPress updates, I was asked to update their website to be more functional and to better reflect their branding.

It was a pleasure to be trusted to take creative liberties with the layout and design of the site, as well as to utilize the contrast of grey and green hues from the Helping Hands logo.

Focusing on ease of use and relaying information for donors and volunteers was one of the main objectives as well as updating the outdated design of the previous site.

Adobe Photoshop was used to optimize and resize images to allow for quicker page loading and site efficiency.
