If mailing lists can be considered the kings of marketing, e-newsletters must at least be the queens. They provide a great way to stay connected with your customer base, and help you create a dynamic sense of community.

When the Cochrane Farmers’ Market needed a way to revitalize and simplify their digital campaigns, I was able to create a custom email template through Mailchimp. This made it possible for volunteers to easily update content each time they needed to send out emails or their newsletter campaigns. 

After customizing a newsletter template via Mailchimp, I designed custom email newsletter banners (headers) through Adobe Illustrator for the different markets that would be hosted throughout the year. I also developed a general e-newsletter banner for the Market team and a separate one during the time when they wanted to highlight a change of location.
