Given only a logo and a deadline, I developed the Hypermobility Canada website over the course of a few months. The priorities for this website were speedy development and relaying the wealth of information from the Hypermobility Canada team in a way that was informative and clear. Finding ways to incorporate all of the colours in the logo while maintaining a professional and clear look were some of the website’s challenges, as well as building a website with relatively limited information and content. I enjoyed the challenge and the ability to utilize styles and colours that I don’t typically work with.

Some of the website highlights are the “are you flexy” survey form where users can answer questions to receive a score that shows the probability of them having hypermobility, and the physician referral questionnaire that allows physicians a quick interactive way to see whether or not their case matches referral criteria. I was also tasked with creating one of the graphics that are included in the “are you flexy” survey, using Adobe Illustrator and the pen tool to design the graphic from scratch.
