One of my first projects with Caltech Group was re-designing their website to reflect their new branding. Rather than update their previous site we decided early on to start from scratch as it had been multiple years since it was first published. It was a substantial and gratifying project where my WordPress, CSS and HTML skills were further refined. From site planning, to troubleshooting code, to Slider Revolution designing, to Photoshopping and optimizing images, there were many different skills that came together to complete the website.
The theme that the Caltech team and I decided on was Gluck by Mikado. It was dynamic to match the Caltech branding and from there I customized and developed the necessary pages.
As with many WordPress and web projects there was much troubleshooting involved for responsive design as well as accessibility. I also developed some assets such as photoshopped and optimized images, a collage showcasing staff from the Caltech team, and a customized slider through Slider Revolution.
